I have finally received my diagnostics reader, the iCarsoft as recommended. I plugged in following my recurring Restricted Performance and found these two faults - 1. Manifold absolute pressure - mass or volume air flow correlation 2. Exhaust gas recirculation cooler - bypass control circuit. Can anyone please explain the faults and how they can be resolved. Any help greatly appreciated.

what are the codes?

maps sensors usually either gets dirty or just needs a new sensor fitting, egr code would give more info

P006A-00 normally relates to a manifold issue, could be cracked or a pipe that has become loose, basically detecting a drop in pressure.

Others are historical.

Well Darren (Tomato) was right there was a crack but not the manifold, the rubber pipe below, picture attached. Found a good mechanic locally diagnosed and found fault in 5 minutes following two clowns that said EGR and the other electrical fault. Diagnostics labour and part  £ 75.50, very reasonable. I think he will be my go to guy now, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable.
