What are "performance" brakes on my XKR?

same brembo racing brakes as fitted to my S-type R

Incorrect information. Wrt to the brakes, I haven't come across 5.0 XKs with the 5.0 XKR brakes as standard. The sizes are noticably different 355mm to 380 mm at the front. I think the rear is an even bigger difference. 

It is possible that:

  • Performance = 355 mm (taken from the 4.2 XKR)
  • Super Performance = 380 mm (standard on almost all 5.0 R models without carbon brakes)

Just measure them and it should be fairly clear what you have/need to replace with.

Non of which are Brembos.

Thought this depends on which engine, does not mention 5.0,

just assumed it was a 4.2, which did have brembo's

but should of realised as its a 2013 car
