2003 s-type transmission

Can anyone tell me whether the automatic transmission unit for the 2.5L and the 3.0L are identical?

Both the 2.5 and 3.0 V6 will have the ZF 6HP26, which are identical.

Hi,

Though they both have the same ZF 6HP26, they may have different torque converters and the TCM which is built into the gearbox is coded to the car, so unless its off a identical spec car, it may need coding to the car to getting it working right
