Door glass not dropping on open/close XKR

Hi all, I have a 2003 XKR and a small problem with the passenger door. When opening/closing the glass should drop a few mm to clear the rubber door seal. It doesn't! Well, if you open the door from the outside, as long as the door handle is held in the open position it drops BUT as the door is shut and the door handle is let go, the glass rises & catches on the rubber - not good. I have done the proper reset as per the manual, no luck. The drivers door works fine. My autoelectrician suspects the door lock itself. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Many thanks in advance!
