Is it possible to to update a 2008 XK with the 2012 front

Is it possible to to update a 2008 XK with the 2012 front end?

Meaning updating the lights / and bumper? Has anyone done this? Is it plug and play - 
Or are the front wings and bonnet shape different too for the new headlights? - meaning the whole front would need a change? Wings / Bonnet etc

Ps without going into detail - just buying the later model is not an option.

There are subtle differences between the two so you would also need to change the wings along with the nose cone. The lights also have the DRL’s on the 12MY which may also pose a problem.

Dont think I’ve seen or heard of anyone doing it but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done.
