What would you buy?

Would you buy a xf 2.2

14 plate 67k or 

Xf 2ltr 14 plate 80k assuming recent belt and pump .

 

Both same price.

There shouldn't be any 2 litre engines on a '14' plate XF ?

The 2.0 ingenium diesel came out in 2015 on the X260, the 2.2 was only available in the X250 version of the XF.

Sorry my Mistake. Its a 2litre on a 66 plate. What do you think please?

If it is a 2.0 diesel, I would avoid it unless there is proof that the timing chains / tensioners have been replaced.

If you search for 'ingenium diesel engine problems', it will tell you everything you need to know.

The Ford / Peugeot 2.2 engine is far less problematic.
