Should petrol stations show the amount of tax included in the price when you buy fuel?

In the US tax is always shown as an add on item on every thing, vat (sales tax) is currently 7% need I say motr?

I think it would make the public much more aware of the amount of tax there is on a litre of petrol, I think it would be a very very good idea
