My Windows keep misting up really badly and take ages to clear, I have had the Air-Con checked and re-gassed, and there are no wet carpets or anything like that.. Someone said its the pollen filter but the garage says its not that either... Its especially bad in the rain or worst of all if I go through a car wash I can not see to drive out... Any sugestions are welcomed

Hi Gregten. It sounds very much to me like you might have a slight leak somewhere. If you've checked under all the carpets, try leaving the car undercover on a rainy night and see if you get the same problem on the next day.

Good luck in getting it fixed!

Adam.

The heater matrix may have a small leak that expands when the car gets hot.

Basically works like a kettle :)

If it is then you can get additives to that you add to the header tank. Otherwise its dash out :(

But it could be something simple, like a leaky door seal.

Same problem, told it was the Heater Matrix and would cost around £150 to supply and install from local garage, the problem was in fact a blocked Cabin Filter bought from from Borg and Beck £ 9.54 inc delivery, fitted in 20 mins problem solved, hope this helps
