Hi all, I'm not worried just want to keep my X Type right, I have a slight intermittent knocking at the rear, when driving over uneven road, sounds as if the spare wheel is loose in he wheel well, ( I've checked and its not ) any body else have any ideas, 2008 X Type, 90000 miles 2.0 desiel sport, car runs smoothly like I say It's not worring me, just want it right,

And thank you all for the welcome comments

Hi Burl, have you checked the suspension, wheel bearings, also exhaust brackets Rubber worn

Taking car into the shop today, just thought it might be something obvious or common, I've had a quick look seems to be a lot of play in the exhaust every thing else seems ok , thanks

If there is a lot of play in the exhaust, then it is most likely the rubbers worn, should resolve the problem

Hope it is a quick easy fix mate B)
