How easy is it to remove stereo?

swapping stereo for single din head unit. Does any one know a link for the removal.

Just be careful of one thing. If you have a manual gearbox, you will have to pull the leather shroud around the gear lever out of its mounts. The clips are metal.

When you unscrew the climate control unit and pull it down to access the cables behind, it will rest on the gear lever, where the metal clips will scratch the display! Just like mine did! Thankfully, £25 on eBay for a replacement! :-)

Thanks for the video again, it was a big help. Was not to hard, just not to happy with the fit(cheap ebay item) apart from that I'm happy. Added a couple of other bits i can't live without. ;)

HI. My temperature gauge in dash does not register unless I am in heavy traffic: motorway cruising and it stays at bottom of dial. I think its the sensor either stuck or broke and for the price of another on I want to replace it: however asking how easy or difficult that is in terms of access from the top of the engine? Thanks
