Help buying a used XF

Featured Replies

I'm torn between:

2008 Jag XF, Premium luxury, 2.7d, 80k miles @ £12k (FSH)

or

2010 Jag XF, Premium Luxury, 3.0d, 100k miles @ £13k (FSH)

so a newer car with better engine but more mileage, or the older (cheaper) car with less miles and the poorer engine?

Help!

Welcome to the club, Michael.

The XF is the successor to the S Type, and while the exterior design is different, my opinion, and I am completely biased, is that the earlier model is possible the better one is the earlier one.  The best of the S type and the best of the XF.  I could be wrong, but as I said, I am biased.

Regards,

Peter.

I was lent the XF 3 litre diesel by the stealership which I was quite impressed with (apart from me not liking diesels, i'm also biased) . But saying that both cars sound really good .

Welcome to the club .

ATB,

Trevor
