Welcome Margaret ,

Hope you enjoy the forum, in my yonuger days I actually ran away to Coventry with my (now) wife, the only time she's ever been up T' north !

If you need any help just ask, there is always someone who knows the answer.

ATB,

Trevor ( does Coventry want the wife back ?) x

Welcome to the Club, Margaret.

The Mark 2 was my dream since I saw my friend's  in 1964.

I had to wait till 2013 to get my S type which I also thoroughly enjoy.

Going to Oxford is a great idea   ----  that would be a great day if a convoy of Mark 2 and S type Jaguars could drive through Oxford.

And they are still making great cars in the West Midlands.

Regards,

Peter.

Quite like Oxford, my daughter used to cox a few of the boat crews there when she was at Uni, she was known as "Hitler of the River ".

I still get offers of cheap accommodation outside of term time from Oxford.

Peter if your colour is Jaguar Blue snap. Cloud reflection in the bonnet looks good in photos.

It is Jaguar Indigo Blue metallic, Margaret,  but when all the dust is gone from Sutton Coldfield I will try for reflections in the bonnet and the boot, too.

Washing off the Saharan sand has been a major chore this last two weeks.

Regards,

Peter.

Didn't have that problem down this way, and both the roads in the West Country are now water free, so things are looking up ! . But I hope all that pollution goes away before I come up T' North a week on Thursday.

ATB,

Trevor
