Hi all,  I have owned an XJS celebration model for last year, over last few months the suspension has got increasingly squeaky and creaky, sounds like a rusty lorry now which is annoying as beautiful car, my local garage has lubricated it but has not made a dent in the noise.  Any suggestions, I believe it is  bushes but let me know any experience of similar...thanks MJ

I must admit I do not get oily hands any more, but I think that your diagnosis is on the right lines.

 

There are many club members with the expertise to assist you.  A Jaguar should not sound like a rusty lorry  ----  it should roll past you in silence!

Wondered if you had found a good source for the celebration suspension bushes (assuming you replaced them)? My '93 XJS has just failed MoT on worn bushes and I'm looking for new or upgraded ones.
