Hi all

I recently bought a 1995 xj Sov and there are a few niggles. I went to change the bulb in the passenger side numberplate light, to find that the prongs were missing.

When I went under the boot lining to replace the holder, there were no wires going to this holder at all! No wires are visible that have moved, fallen or broken. I'm totally confused about what may have happened here, so if anyone could shed any light I'd be grateful.

Many thanks!

Gavin

Welcome to the Club, Gavin.

I am sure one of the many XJ owners in the club will know the answer to that one.

Meanwhile, I am fairly certain that there are some wiring diagrams on the internet.

Regards,

Peter.

Thank you for your reply!

it's just very strange, there are no plugs hanging down or broken wires as you might expect. Confused!
