My S type came off the Production line ar the Castle Bromwich Factory 9 years ago today. I have given it a great polish, being as it cannot eat cake to blow candles out. Peter.

Hi Adam, No experience of the XJR, but when you car goes into limp mode you will need to get a diagnostic tool plugged into it, and see what it throws up. Peter.

Hi John, My first Jaguar was an X type 2.5 AWD and it was a great car. I really wanted an S Type when my old Rover Sterling was getting tatty, but when we saw the X type SWMBO like it so much we caught it and no regrets. When it was stolen, SWMBO said we should turn a disaster into an opportunity, and needing a car quickly I did an intensive search, and found one within out budget in Dumfries at Stratstone Jaguar, who said they would bring it down for me to look at. But within an hour Stratstone Solihull rang and said that had one there - just 18 miles away. We saw it and bought it. Nearly three years later and hardly a problem Great Car. With SWMBO in Galway looking out over the Bay. Peter.
