  1. Stag Q Max Plus is a good LPG kit and Profess are able to fit one at quite a reasonable cost but as Ron has stated, unless you are going to do lots of miles then you would not be too much better off financially.
  2. Hi Mark....it's getting close to the deadline but if there are enough members wanting to attend and make up the minimum number required for a stand then I am more than happy to arrange it all.....just need more responses! But, I'll put you down as a potential attendee and then that makes three of us

  5. Great collection of fine classic cars...some of which I haven't seen around for many years...which as Cubist has mentioned, maybe a lot of them are for 'show' and not so much for 'go'
  6. Hi Andrew....welcome to the Club Lovely X-Type and I think a remap on a diesel is fine as long as it's done for driveability and economy then its fine. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  7. Hi Nathan....welcome to the Club You are most welcome as a Member no matter where you live! Feel free to post up a piccy or two of your Jag... Cheers, Trevor

  9. Here's a useful link to the official Jaguar site and has useful Guides to show you how to operate your Jaguar...check it out! https://www.jaguar.com/how-to-operate/index.html
  10. Hi Stephen...welcome to the Club. Hopefully the wife will come round to liking the Jag soon enough Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  11. Hi Salvatore....welcome to the Club Here is a link to a Tyre Pressure guide http://bit.ly/tyrepressures If in doubt I would probably work on the principle that it is slightly better to have a little more than less but I would probably take it to 1 or 2 psi around the 33psi (e.g. 34 - 35 psi) and see how the handling is affected while checking the wear pattern on the tread. Bear in mind also, the tyre temperature when checking pressures, as that alters considerably when the air temperature inside the tyre is increased (which can rise quite a few psi when the tyre is hot)....also bear in mind the accuracy of the pressure gauge you are using....the ones on the pumps at the petrol station are usually way out of calibration so you are better off having a pocket type gauge (either manual or electronic type). Cheers, Trevor
  12. Hi Neil Here's an event happening near you in July that you may be interested in attending with the Club
  13. Hi Dominic...welcome to the Club You could try some of the local (Dorset based) Jaguar specialists....Dorset Sports Cars, Marina Garage, Hollygrove Jaguar to name a few or otherwise there is a really good air conditioning specialist on the Ringwood Road industrial estate that may be able to source a generic component that would work. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor p.s....good collection of cars over the years!
  14. Hi Chris...welcome to the Club Why not come along to the Midlands event (not that far away from you)....would be great for you to show your XJS with the Club Give these guys a call as I used to source performance Cats through them for MG Rovers and Jaguars many years ago....hopefully they might be able to assist. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  15. There are a few Jaguar Owners Club events occurring this Summer that you may not be aware of so I thought I would post it here to promote some response and hopefully get a good number of Members to attend on a Club Stand Here is one that is based in the heart of the truly picturesque New Forest and would be ideal for any Southern-based Members (not that we have a problem with any Northerners attending 😁) .... If it's something you would like to attend, please respond to this post and I can draw up an Attendance List. Also, look out a for a special announcement of another event that is occurring in the Midlands that is being laid on especially for the Club.
