I am considering getting a stage 2 on my 2011 XKR. Still not sure yet, I like the sound of the Quicksilver too, costs an arm and a leg though and it's considerably louder.
I'll bet it would sound amazing , but probably not on long trips though

You could try a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for at least half an hour and see if that cures it?

YOUR DIGITAL SERVICE RECORD
For too long, vehicle owners have been tied to paper books as the only system for recording vehicle service records. Jaguar's Online Service History has changed all of that. As an owner of a new model in the UK you can now check all of your vehicle's service records online at anytime.

Hi Julie
I agree with John, more than likely battery related issues.
Either connect the battery to a conditioner when not using for extended periods or maybe even get the battery tested for condition and replace if necessary.Sometimes a longer run will bring the battery back to life (de-sulphated) and the faults can disappear until the next time it discharges.

Thanks, I’ll be there! Planning to try and meet up at M27 Rownhams Services for 9:00am if anyone is up for it?
There may be some members en route and going past Rownhams but if not then we'll see you on the Club Stand (I'm driving up through the New Forest)

Hi Kevin, all you need is to buy tickets and we'll put your name on the list.
Also, don't forget to print out the Club Pass to display in the windscreen...see you there!

Thanks Trevor, a good friend of mine who is also a Jaguar Owners Club member, has also purchased tickets to this event. Not sure if his purchase has been logged with you as he will want to join us with his Jaguar on the club stand. His name is Richard Sinclair, lives local to me.
Is it possible you could check if he will also get the club stand pass as well for his car?
Thanks,
Kevin
Thanks for letting us know Kevin. Maybe an idea if he pops on here to find out any further information and we will include him on the list (will put his name in now)

Hi,
I have purchased tickets to this event and would like to park my XK8 on the club stand, can you please advise how to get confirmation of this and receive the necessary club labels.
Hi Kevin
I just need the final count for our club stand and then Beaulieu will send out the tickets and club pass to you.
You will then need to print out the club stand pass to display in your windscreen.
Hopefully this will be in the next couple of days
Cheers, Trevor (admin)

Hi Kevin....welcome to the Club!
I would suggest looking at the door sensor/door latch which is not registering the door as being closed.
Check also the wiring inside the rubber gaiter between the door and pillar -
as the old saying goes "its not what you know, its who you know"

Many thanks. I have emailed the company asking for their recommendations on my required usage.
Have they responded to you yet John?

Hi Robert....welcome to the Club
I am also a proud owner of a Z3 2.0 of the same year....superb cars to drive but not as refined as a Jaguar of course.
Good to have you onboard!

`They are on their way to you John and you should receive them shortly

That's unusual as the steering column adjustment should be able to take the full movement in/out and up/down.
I wonder if the ignition switch assembly has previously been changed for the wrong one?

Any update on the badges please.

Nothing sorted as yet but definitely something we are looking into

Think they need to be on cars that will be attending Simply Jaguar at Beaulieu . Please update me if they are available or what is available for the windscreen to identify the club.
Beaulieu send out parking passes which carry the club name and you will need to print it out and put it in the windscreen, they will then direct you to the club stand area

Hi all, I am slightly further West (Pagham), but the New Forest sounds great. I drive a 2013 XF and love it 🙂

Hi
I just joined because I'm planning on becoming a Jaguar owner again, after a seven year gap.
I live in Ferndown but the car I'm looking to buy is a Mk V which will be roughly the same age as me !
It's always good to talk to fellow petrolheads so, if you have a plan for a meeting, I would be pleased to come along.

FUEL ADDITIVES. Yes / No ?????????????
in Jaguar Owners Lounge
Posted
Hi John
If you use premium fuels (e.g. Shell, BP, etc) as opposed to Supermarket fuels then the additives are usually refined into the fuel and much better for the engine (albeit a little more costly)
I personally would not use any aftermarket additives after fuelling the car as the majority are usually 'Snake Oil' rather anything beneficial such as Redex (which cannot be used on modern engines unfortunately)
