After all the problems of gaining access I finally got to the bottom of the problem. It was not unlocking on very sunny hot days but I found if I run cold water over the roof all worked I found this after many visits to my local jaguar agent and spending £1600.00 new keys new wiring the fault did not show up on the garages computers. Because of my investigation work it was found to be the sensor in the shark fin on the roof the sensor was replaced and I now have a car that is great but a very expensive experience.
