  4. Check the brake disc dust shield hasn’t come adrift and also any heat shields. Noise does travel and may be coming from a different area to where you think.
  5. Ideally you should hook up a code reader first to see what the car says. No need whatsoever to have the engine running to check the sensors. That advice should be ignored as it is inherently dangerous…….

  8. Found this, hope it helps; To remove the 2007 Jaguar S-Type front grille, you need to unlatch the hood, then locate and remove two nuts/bolts at the top rear of the grille assembly. After removing the fasteners, you must unclip the plastic tabs that project from the rear of the grille frame by gently easing them outwards. With the nuts, bolts, and tabs disengaged, the entire grille can be removed from the car

  17. You’re very welcome Paul.👍
  18. Try this first, move the seat forward so that the seat has room to recline as far as possible and then recline the seat but hold the switch down for at least 5 seconds once it has reached its limit. Then try and recline forward to its limit and hold again for at least 5 seconds. If this does not work then you will be forced into a recalibration by a dealer or independent specialist.
  19. Hi Paul, Do not fit your charger direct to the battery as you will bypass the battery monitoring system (BMS). The negative of your charger should go to a suitable ground point. Here is my, Jaguar recommended installation; and what it looks like with the trim in place: The charger you have will be fine.👍
  20. There is just a possibility that you have programmed the boot lid to not open properly/ fully: try opening the boot to its full height and pressing and holding for 10 seconds the boot close button: if it has been programmed to open to any other point on the cycle, this should reset it.
  21. Keep us posted on your progress.👍
  22. The first few minutes of this video shows how to remove the number plate lights.
  23. If the pump does not run then first check the inertia switch hasn’t tripped inadvertently before you go further.
