Hi I'm new on and I'm hoping that someone can help me. When I put my car into reverse the lights don't come on unless I pull the gear selector further back. Alvin

Hi this is my first time on here and the reason is that I have a problem with my 05 x type. When I put it into reverse gear the back lights don't come on unless I pull back the gear selector a bit more and hold it there. Has anyone got any ideas. Many thanks
