Fitting Nextbase 322gw Front & Rear dash Cams
Hi just a line to say i have the nextbase 522 a long with the rear camera. Not sure what the problem was but if i plug it into the lighter socket the cameras work fine. if i hard wire it (which i did) made sure it had a good earth ect sometimes the camera not switch off and i would come back to a over heated camera so would have to let it cool down before it would work again. Went back it the lighter socket and no problems again. used fuse F32 which is the one they said to use. ( also used the nextbase hard wire kit)

S type R abs fault/DSC not available
Hi i had this problem, and you do need to get the fault code. As this could be not only abs system at fault. In my case it turned out to be the yaw sensor. which is under the auto hand brake.

gearbox, handbrake, D.S.C. faults
Hi this could be many things if you are on good terms with a local garage ask them to get any codes from the car via obd11/eobd reader. This just plugs into your car and will give you a good start point to fix it. If like my car dsc can fail with one of six sensors alone. this is why you need the codes. it maybe only one part that will fix it all. Hope this will help in some way.

new member Hi all!
Hi all, I have a 2.5 v6 on a 52 plate S type. which i have had for 6mth. There where a number of issues with it which i have been able to fix just in time for its first mot with me. Very happy to say she passed last week. so issues with her have been radio code not working, door locks only working with the key, both banks running lean, dsc not working, unusual tyre wear and a number of sensor problems. Which i am happy tosay i was able to fix myself with the help of a code reader. Sorry no photos yet as she is having bodywork done after someone side swiped me.
