  1. Sorry, I didn't read your problem correctly, the first time. I see our respective problems are unrelated. Good luck with yours.
  2. I bought a 2010 XKR in Tucson, Arizona last summer, when it was 110 degrees Fahrenheit. I insisted that the air conditioning work, which it did. What they failed to tell me was that the condensation drain tube was ruptured or clogged. It dripped on the right side footwell for 3000 miles driving home to New York. I've done most of my own work on a wide variety of cars, trucks, lawn mowers, etc. The dealer said it would cost $4000 US dollars to replace the $15 tube, as the entire dash has to be removed to access the faulty part. The XKR is waiting for the appropriate weather to be driven again & I'm finishing a 1962 Jaguar Mark2 vintage race car on a deadline. Frankly, I haven't addressed the AC issue, but I do have new tires, brake pads, & transmission fluid w/filter, that I will be addressing. I only hope this helps, if only to help identify the origin of your problem.
