  1. Sorry to hear Jaguar were not interested in one of their customers with a new car George, I am not sure what to say,

possibly contact trading standards to see if you have any legal standing, with goods bought and not meeting up to standards,

maybe posting on Jaguars facebook page, if enough people stand up, then hopefully Jaguar will look in to the problem and rectify

it, as it is not audible in other cars, it must be curable, Good luck.

  2. Hi Ian, Was hoping someone might respond to your problem as they have not, I googled your problem

The squeak comes from the bushes that connect the horn etc

remedies one is to add an additive to the power steering fluid, available from Jag dealers, people say that it cured it

also some people have tried lubricating these bushes, but you will have to google to find the answer how to do that

Lastly, someone changed their steering rack and that cured the problem

Hope the above has helped and that you get the problem resolved, keep us updated,

we are trying to update this site, with more activity, problem solving, car meets etc. biggrin.gif

  3. Hi George, Have you read any road test and reader reviews on the website from Autocar, What Car, Top Gear to see if they had this problem and as Steve has said try a test drive in another car,

really disappointed with response from Jaguar, hope you find a happy answer to this problem.
