Hi Gerry, you have the answers above, not sure why you would want to, freewheeling would mean not having control of your cat, automatic driving is to make things easier for you to drive, so when stopping you will have engine braking to help slow the car down, enjoy the easy life of driving with an auto box

Thanks Alastair, Could be a letter to the BBc Watchdog programme, your insurance company should defend you, as it will affect you, when you renew your insurance, they will see the 3rd party was paid out which could indicate it was your fault, bumping up your premium, but I guess you would already know this working a long time in the insurance game, I personally think the system needs a total overhaul, good luck with the Post Office insurance.

I believe that speed humps all over the country should be removed, a lot of them are damaged, causing drivers to go from 20/30 mph down to a snails pace, just to protect your car from damage, the local councils should keep them in good condition, lorries and 4 x4's just drive over these without slowing down, so they actually are a waste, speed humps is probably a factor for people buying 4 x 4's
