  1. Dreaded Air Suspension fault came up last night on the x350 but it kept going without ant drama till I got home. About 30 miles with the Amber light on. This morning I plugged the icarsoft LR3 in and it showed faults in Suspension, Engine and instrument modules, all voltage related. They all cleared and so far haven't come back. 🤞 . Battery is 18 months old. Hoping it was just a glitch. These cars like to keep us on our toes.😗
  2. I did the drain and new filter on my X350 a couple of years and my other car L405 Range Rover is now due for a service but I'm undecided which way to go. Do you think the full flush is best and will they change the filter as part of the service? There are a lot of different opinions ie: Leave it alone, drain and refill a couple of times or full flush. Must admit the latter seems to be the way to go as drain and refill x several seems very wasteful. also any views on which fluid to use? The Lifeguard stuff seems ridiculously expensive when other brands have exactly the same spec for much cheaper price.....but will it mix ok? questions, questions.
  3. New pump installed and all is well. The tank is one awkward so and so to get into place and the 2 pipes underneath are just something else but all the nasty messages have gone away and a pint beckons. Happy days.....till the next time
  4. Latest update: New pump arrived but is a bit longer than the original so some mods to the mounting bracket are the order of the day. Old pump definitely goosed so just hoping that all the other stuff goes away. 🙏
  5. Hi Frank Battery was replaced 2 years ago. Pretty sure the pump has had it, there's a definite live to it and no noise or signs of petrol at the header. New pump on order and the tank is almost out. I've done some awkward jobs in my 70 odd years but those two pipes underneath are something else.👹 Much cursing and skinning of knuckles. Will report back.
  6. Hi Frank- Battery was down a bit so it's on charge now. I tested the resistance of the pump and it's about 1.5 ohms. linking out the fuel pump relay I can't hear the pump running and no fuel at all at the rail on the engine. Looks like the pump has had it and I'm hoping all the other stuff is incidental, It's interesting that the pump shows a healthy resistance ?but doesn't seem to be running when I jump a live to it. Maybe it's seized? New pump on order and preparing myself for the infamous fuel lines underneath.
