hi I have a 1998 xj8 v8 4.0 ltr auto.. I am thinking of changing the gearbox oil and filter any one know how to fill it back up and whats the best oil to use???........ also while I am under it maybe change the engine oil and filter what again is the best oil to use ??.......

thanks for the welcome I have just picked up a xj8 4.0v8 very nice just needs few little jobs but only interior and a good clean ....very happy with it over the years I have had 32 jags first was in 1983 a lovely 1978 double six wish I still had that one
