  1. Peter if rover had updated it ever few years they would have had a winner still. Tony
  2. Peter I did not mention company cars because I earned my living delivering them and the sterling was a favourite of mine . I drove the cars one at a time.
  3. You have hit the nail on the head numkelfutumch. wages = car. which is why I bought my 1999 S Type @ 75, If only I could have afforded it in youth what a life I would have had.
  4. Thanks for the info, the search goes on. anyone out there changed the cd player for a dvd player and did it work on 1999 dash. If so was it easy. it seems that the 99 model update CDs stop in about 2002 then go DVD. So I thought if I am going to update when required I might as well change the unit to DVD. Tony
  5. Hi Peter I understand the old now. I thought I was getting on a bit at 75 Plus. I am due a licence renewal in august so I don't want to spend too much before August in case they don't renew. Tony
  6. Thanks Peter I will wait for further answer. Do I take it you got Old Peter because a younger chap came along,
  7. when I bought Lisa she as run smoothly( 4 Months ago). The sat nav is well out of date with a 1999 CD, I asked satnavdvd if they could supply a updated disc they did not have a suitable version asked me to send file details which I did, but they could not patch anything that would help. |s their any satnav genius out there who knows where I can get an up to date disc that will run on 1999 Hardware.
