  1. Got the cup holders and phone hidden in there, and the cup holders in the middle of the rear seat base, but cant see a keyhole lol, figured the cruise control out and auto setting and time delay on the headlights which are HID with washers, again I think this is standard, but happy to be corrected, also found that it senses the weight of the passenger in the passenger seat and turns the airbag off if a child's car seat is installed. I do find the auto lock once you pull away ( anti car jacking perhaps?) a little annoying and haven't figured how to turn that off, and finally a funny one, I have gotten used to closing the door before I put my seat belt on as if I do it the other way around it restricts me reaching the door ( i'm only a short bloke with small arms)
  2. I have opened the boot remotely with the key, but the key has been nowhere near the boot yet, what should I be looking for?

    MPG

Im pretty sure this will have been asked at some point before so apologies if im going over old ground. So with all trim levels, engines and fuel types I wondered what mpg people were getting in their Jaguars Mine around town averages 18-22 as long as driven conservatively, if driven a little more unsociably I can get it into single figures quite easily after all these cars want to stretch their legs once in a while On a run it is generally around the 27-33 mark if the onboard computer is to be believed. I have to admit i am enjoying fuel under £1 a liter at the moment so even though it is fractions of pence worth of savings I don't feel too bad at the single digits mpg lol
  4. So are there any other hidden surprises that I havent stumbled upon yet?
  5. After unlocking remotely and keeping the button press a little longer than normal all the windows and sunroof opened, so i then locked it and again kept the button pressed slightly longer and everything closed, so what i am asking is this a standard feature? does everyone elses act the same?
  6. good stuff, thankyou. Part ordered off of fleabay and on the way
  7. Many thanks for the warm welcome, and Happy New Year to you all!!
  8. So after nearly 2 weeks of ownership I have found my first issue, nothing major though, the passenger side sun visor has the plastic lift up lid that covers the courtesy mirror and switches the lights either side of the mirror on is missing, im guessing the whole visor will need replacing, is it easy enough to do?
  9. Hi, just collected my Jag, new to me, have wanted one for ages, so bit the bullet and purchased today a 2.5 v6 sport s-type registered in 2002, this was slightly different to the many others I have viewed as it comes with RED sports leather (more along the lines of a wine colour tbh) and will be hoping for many happy years together, but anyhow hello everyone! im sure I will have many questions along the way so thanks in advance for any answers :D
