My family is originally from there I live in the US now. I was very young when we moved.

HI Tomas,

 

When you said your location was Newport I thought it might be one of the 3 in the UK  ----  Never thought of the Newport in Virginia [i think].

 

What I do know about the US Newport is that I had lunch in the Officers' Mess there quite a few years ago in August and the air conditioning had broken down.

 

Too hot for me!

I think I should mention in reply for it being too hot for Peter, to put things in perspective they still have snow on the ground this time of year up North where he lives .

 

Am I right in thinking that the Jags didn't have too good a reputation in the USA when they were owned by Ford ? My American son in law loves my XKR by the way .
