Electronic toll tag

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me where to stick the electronic toll tag on my 2004 XK8. It is supposed to be placed on the mottled area above the rear view mirror, but the area is completely taken up by the plastic base of the mirror with the wiper sensor etc.

It cannot go on the area of the windscreen that is heated. Does anyone else have this problem?

Stephen,

I don't even know what an electronic toll tag is,I'm in Devon, we don't even know what electric is ! so I'm afraid I can't help .

Hi Stephen.

I think that I would write to the toll operators, as they should have designed one that would  work on all models of car.

I think I would have the same problem on my S Type, if it was worth my while in getting one for the M6 Toll.

Regards,

Peter.

I have a new XJ and travelled through France without a problem with my Tag, it was just to the right of the rear view mirror. The car has a heated front screen but did not cause a problem.
