I've just bought a 2004 S-type and its got a stone chip but I can't find the exact shade of blue I neeed to repair it. Halfords don't sell any Jaguar colours. How do I find out the exact shade of blue and where do I buy it?.

peter welcome to the club. its easy just go to any jaguar dealers near you and explain your looking for a touch up pen, they will ask you for your car vin no. its located in the pasangers side bottom windscreen or under the bonnet or in your handbook. and they will give you a touch up kit or pen around £10-20quid hope this has help regards charlie

Drive into a Jaguar dealership and ask them what they call the colour . Mine is called Kyanite blue .

 

There should be a label inside  the drivers door post which will give you the paint code along with other info like date of manufacture .
