Afternoom folks had my car a week and loviing it but a couple of questions ,when the fuel light comes on how much is left in tank as in ,y last car it was about 1.5 gallons and the trip computer seems not to work it will reset to zero but nothing else anyone any ideas

Hi Robert,

There is a small reserve which is about the level in your previous car when the amber light comes on.

I wold advise adding fuel as soon as that light comes on, especially with an older car just to ensure that there is no offensive stuff getting through.

I think the trip computer is saying "Get some petrol in here".

Regards,

Peter

Thanks Peter ,no the trip comp is broken as non of the functions are working except the trip mileage

Hi Robert.

Are you sure you have an OBC fitted? I only have the trip mileage above the cars total mileage on the display. The button on the end of the repeater stalk only resets the trip mileage and that's all.

Chris.
