Hi Scott,

On the Portfolio it is an optional extra costing £460.

I think it could be included in some of the other models, but I will check.

Adding to that post, Scott.

It is an optional extra  on the XJR too, so I think it will be the same on the others.

Scott,

Had it on the XJ Supersport. Liked it at first, but you soon get used to it being there and don't take any notice of it . Don't have it on the XKR, but don't miss it.

Fabulous thanks guys.  I pick up XJ next Wednesday (2010 plate) and luckily the previous owner specced it to the hilt so fingers crossed it is on!

Hi Scott,

It can surprise you how many optional extras there are on Jaguars. There are some I didn't want and when I got my s type the previous owner has the nous not to specify a TV  and Jaguar voice, but the foresight to specify the SatNsv and a proper spare wheel on a matching alloy.

Regards,

Peter.

Scott,

As I said, if it isn't on you won't be missing much, as it loses it's affect.

My XJ Supersport being a Jag directors car had every single extra going , three TV's (agree with Peter on that) Jaguar voice (also agree with Peter). Bower and Wilkins 1200 watt 20 speaker sound system (fantastic), double glazing, and best of all a 5 litre supercharged engine , which was miles faster than my Aston Martin DB9 .

The XJ is a truly fantastic car and I'm sure you will be delighted with it .

The only reasons I got rid of it was to stop the wife whining, as she said it didn't look like a proper Jag, and also it was too big for our cart tracks out here in the sticks

ATB,

Trevor

I often enjoy a drive without music or even the radio on, just listening to the gentle rumble of the rather quiet 2.7 diesel and the whooshhhh you get when you press the S button and take the engine up to 4000 revs.
