Hi everyone, well this is my first visit to this site because I have never owned a Jaguar before! I take delivery of a 1971 series III e type on Sat and I am looking forward to driving such a fantastic beast. I would fill this page with the amount of bikes and car I have owned in the 70's to date, but I dont think anything is going to come close to the fantastic sexy lines of an e type. I will no doubt be on this site often asking for information, hoping all you ladies and guys who have lots of knowledge and experience to share! Best Adrian

Adrian,

Welcome, I agree with Charlie, the E type is a fantastic looking car, probably my favourite, with the Jensen Interceptor in second place.

I would swap the wife for one tomorrow ; as a matter of fact, I did try it once, but got offered a second hand Skoda in Exchange.

In all fairness, it does run quite well.

Welcome to the Club, Adrian.

There are not many e types around and I look forward to the photos.

And I think you will enjoy the Club.

Regards,

Peter.

Adrian, being a Welshman I am familiar with Cheshire and the backdrops from which you can capture some fantastic photographs of your new E Type and is there a better car to have in the forefront of such backgrounds? I think not

Please when you have some free time get out there on the hills with car and camera and load the images within our gallery of members cars.

Welcome to the club, feel free to ask questions we all have them from time to time and retrospectively we will assist in giving answers where possible from time to time
