After replacing the instrument panel due to malfunctioning fuel guage, I have lossed all warning chimes including reversing warning and indicators, also door locking on driving away is no longer working any ideas would be appreciated, worse case scenario do I have to change the instrument panel again

hi Tomas

when  you did the replacement did you disconnect the battery?

if you did you will need to reset chimes on computer some

you just tick the things you want on or un tick  the one you don't

hope its as easy as that fingers crossed

Hi Thomas,

Trevor has indicated the probable cure.

Simply turn on the radio  - you will need the code - and then follow the system reset,

All will then work.  I do it regularly when I get "Park brake malfunction".

Peter.

Thanks for all the sugestions gentlmen, but after investigation by jaguar diagnostics it was indeed the fault of the instrument pannel I sourced, but the good news is the dealer stood by his warranty and exchanged the unit and pleased to report all now working
