Hi all,

 

The spring loaded cover on my auxiliary 12v power socket in the centre console cubby is broken beyond repair. I've no problem finding a replacement socket but none of them seem to have the spring loaded cap.

 

Please can anybody advise a source of a replacement socket with a spring loaded cap?

the spring on mine fell out on first usage, but I have not bothered to fix it as I keep my charger plugged in.

 

I think a breaker might have one, but I guess they will not be in high demand.

 

I will have a look round, though.

Are there any good breaker's yards for Jaguar in our neck of the woods?

Hi Paul,

 

There is a good yard close to Birmingham Airport at the road at the end of the runway.  I will look up the name  -  it means rooting through some papers where I might have written the name down, but they were very helpful with my Rover 825 in getting some electrical bits.
