Auto box

Hi there,X type 2.5 petrol 2007, do I need to put higher grade Oil in my Auto box if towing a caravan regular. Cheers, Stilo

Hi Anthony, and welcome to the club.

 

I towed a caravan with a 2.5 petrol auto Rover Sterling for11 years and used the gearbox Oil as recommended by Rover.

 

I guess that if you use the Oil recommended by by Jaguar you won't have any issues.

i asked the same and was told i didnt need a higher grade Oil hope this helps
