Crook lock

My missus really wants me to get a crook lock for the car to deter burglars.

 

I can't stand them and am happy to take a 'risk'

 

Any fool-proof arguments I can use to quash this ridiculous idea?

Hi Tom,

 

The steering wheel on the Jaguar  moves to its memory position when you get into the car, and a steering wheel lock could well break the steering wheel.  Jaguar advise not to use them.

 

The XF should have enough security in the locking system, as does my S type.

and if that doesn't work i also have a tracker fitted & very good insurance
