Big day today guys, going to pick my latest acquisition up later today, a gleaming late 2007 Claret red S type diesel, 91000 on the clock, full jaguar history from day one, beige showroom condition leather, chrome pack, all the usual toys, even got the dealer to renew all brake pads, lower control arms and 2 New tyres, think I paid top dollar at £6250 but looking at the car I think it warrants it. What do you think?

I think you will love it. And the price is fine ---I just sold mine for same money privately. Better to pay a wee bit more for a good one.

Hi Ian, and welcome to the Club.

 

I paid £9,750 for m S Type 2.7 Diesel with 48k on the clock in June 2013 with all the bells and whistles, even a proper spare wheel, so that is not a bad price at all.

 

You will enjoy the S Type -- great car to drive.
