Welcome to the club, David.

The CD changer in the boot seems to have some common problems.  Luckily, mine works OK.  There are several members with more electrical expertise that myself, and I am certain some good advice will soon be here.

Regards,

Peter.

Possibility that one of the cd caddies has jammed across to transport mechanism.

If you look along the right hand side of the cartridge you might see it.

One solution that almost always works is to gently tap the cartridge with the head of a screwdriver whilst repeatedly pressing the eject button.

If this is the case and it happens more than once it is a good idea to get another cartridge.
