Just curious if any fellow s-type member have coilovers fitted?

Could you please specify what make of coilover you have, what your original suspension was, and any comments on the new ride

I know nothing of coilovers Nathan but I can't see that you'd get "your head bitten off"

Curiosity is a wonderful thing. I've found out how to do all sorts of things by asking questions and getting friendly replies :)

I hope somebody has the knowledge and / or experience to be of assistance.

I can't think that you'd get any negativity going by my experience of the forum members.

Welcome to the club btw :D

I looked into it a bit, the only ones I found were KW, high quality units but the price put me off, well over £1500 plus fitting.

Fortunately fitting isn't a cost or issue for myself.

I've noticed the pricey KW's, but found two additional manufacturers in the states. (One only lists their coilovers to fit the Lincoln LS which share some suspension components with the s-type)

These are roughly £800 pre shipping costs.

Isn't jaguars multi million pound developed double wishbone suspension any good??

I get the impression that it's more to do with styling than any perceived shortcomings of the suspension Andy :)

I expect it's akin to other styling mods like for example replacement exhausts.

I'd certainly like to see the end result.

I'm just looking for people's opinions who've actually had coilovers fitted.

Not looking for a debate on how much Jaguar spent designing the various suspension components.
