Having just picked up my first Jag, 3 litre V6 S Type, I'm now on to tweaking it.

First 'mod' being the mesh grill. I've found some on eBay for £40~ but no idea on fitting instructions.

How's it done?

Hi Ian,

I have just had a look at the fitting and the unit seems just t0 have three bolts holding it on. One either side at the top, and the other which holds on the horns too.

However, there are some members who have done this and hopefully they will spot this post and tell you how to do it.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Ian I changed mine a few years back for a black one it was only about 6 screws but be ware when buying off eBay make sure you get the right one for your model I bought one and it came back wrong the lugs were to long so it wouldn't fit . I've now got an XF and was looking to change the grill for a black one but instead I primed my chrome one and sprayed it with a auto paint took 10 min to mask up gave it 3 coats and a matt lacquer and fair play it looks great and saved myself a load of money
