Single press window operation

Hi guys, I'm curious if my car should have single press rather than press and hold for opening the windows?

The global opening / closure works so would have thought it should have?

I think you press the button to send the window down but keep it pressed for a few seconds then send it up and again hols the button down for a few seconds then it should work. 

 

I may be wrong though. 

A quick press should send it down or up.
