SmartNav / TrafficMaster

Featured Replies

OK, I admit it, I actually LIKE using SmartNav :yahoo:

Now, the question is, rather than spoiling the look of the car's interior, is it possible to connect the SmartNav video output to the car's touchscreen?

I'm thinking along the lines of NavTool but have no experience with that technology.

Any help greatly appreciated.

hi

with navtool you have two video in,

whats the video out on the smart nav

they do a navtool with just 2 video in rca which is a lot cheaper, the navtool with 3 video in ( 1 hdmi 2x rca ) is a bit dearer )

but you will need a fm transmitter for sound

what does the smartnav look like

This page shows you some pictures Joe.

At the moment I have no idea of the video output as I haven't received the kit. It doesn't need audio though, having a separate dedicated speaker.

Hi Paul,

Its most probably video rca, a yellow plug

you have to show me some pics when it arrives

cheers
