  This summer I intend to have a bit of work done to the motor, IE:  Upgrade timing chain tensioner, New brake discs and pads, + any brake pipes that need changing. Also have a bit of bodywork tidied up and the complete respray, + new roof lining.

Want to bring the old girl back up to scratch.

Live in Redditch, so need to know if anyone knows a decent Indie that could do this work at a reasonable cost.

Hi Monty. and welcome to the Club,

While the Jag Specialists are  very good they are a two hour [minimum] drive from Redditch.

Andrew has pointed you in a good direction, and there is also a very well thought of Jaguar Specialist in Northfield, just a short drive up the road.
