Autobox

Can anyone advise me if the 6 speed auto gearbox is the same for both  the 2.5 and 3.0 model. Mine is the '02 facelift so are all  the gearboxes compatable after this date.

Hi

if its the zf 6HP26, I think the gearboxes are the same, Torque converter might be different and ecu's will have different software

but looking on sng site http://www.sngbarratt.com/CatalogueSections.aspx?m=49

they all have different part numbers

so you might want to contact a ZF dealer who could confirm this for sure
