20160417_173832.jpgHi all iv owned my s type for around 6mths now and she's not been kind to me😢 Since buying my one owner car from new car it's developed an engine knock and a huge auto box leak (I'm hoping changing the sump pan and oil will cure this.)

Apart from that she's ok lol

Welcome to the club, Paul.

The members are a very friendly and helpful group, and I think you will get some good advice.

The s type is a very nice car, and I am sure you will enjoy it when all is rectified.

Regards,

Peter.

hi paul

if its got the zf 6HP26 6 speed box. make sure you replace the mechatronics sleeve, this is a common leak on this gearbox, new sleeves are improved so they dont leak

could also be the filter/sump on these as there only made of plastic, so if its been hit or caught by something, could of cracked

cheers

joe
