I have a 1999 3.0 V6

I have just got it back from the garage after replacing the throttle body and accelerator pedal to deal with a failsafe engine mode problem.

As they disconnected the battery I now need to put in the radio security code and seem to have run into a problem

The four figure code contains a 0 and a 9 but the preset buttons are 1-4

Any suggestions welcomed. I asked Jaguar customer service and they don't know and no-one at a dealership knew either.

I am in Spain and the nearest dealership to me is a four hour drive.

If I recall, and I did it a week ago so I should! The 4 numbers  on the stereo relate to the 4 digit code, 1st button is 1st number etc. Hence if 1234, press the 1st button once, the second button twice etc, 3rd 3 times etc until the correct code is shown. This was in the audio supplement of my owners handbook, if you don't have one of these you can pick up the complete leather wallet from eBay.

Hope this helps!

Hi Joe

When I turn it on max Lo I get cold air from drivers side dash vents and warm air from passenger side air vents. I am told the heater control valve in the engine has been replaced and that the problem is with the climate control module in the dashboard.

Would you know if the climate control module forms part of the AC / heater control panel on the dash or is it tucked away somewhere else?

It is a 1999 3.0 V6

Thanks
