2010 XF 3.0

I recently had a brake pad low warning message so yesterday had pads and discs replaced. Brakes work fine but have started getting brake pad  warning light again.

They disconnected the battery when they did it and so there are various other electrical adjustments to make, including window regulators.

Is there a way of resetting the electrics or getting rid of the brake warning light?

I can't take it to a dealer as I live in Spain and don't have one.

Thanks

Hi Dave, you may need to replace the sensors they tend to go fragile over time.

Hi David,

Resetting the windows etc is quite easy on the s type.  Just follow the procedure in the Owners's manual.  It should be similar on the XF.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks for the advice.

New sensor was fitted along with the brake pads. Is there a way of changing the sensor without stripping down the pads or caliper?

Thanks
