Recently acquired 2008 in immaculate condition. Extremely pleased except for front end vibration. Felt only through the steering wheel. Not significant except when excelleraing uphill then it becomes somewhat noisy. Under normal driving it is hardly noticeable. Could this be due to unbalanced drive shafts as I have had the wheels checked and rebalanced without any improvement. Really appreciate any assistance with this. Recently serviced by Jaguar and not considered excessive!!!.

hi

is it the 4wd model, does it do it at low or high rpm, or low or high speeds

could still be a slightly buckled wheel

have you tried swapping front wheels for back wheels

cheers

joe

Hi --And could also be a faulty tire I had a similar problem and it was a tire just a fraction

out of shape ???

Hi Joe

No it's front wheel drive and only occurs at around 2,000 revs and again only when accelerating uphill..

Had already tried the changing wheels scenario but with no joy.

Have not considered an out of shape tyre. Will look into this.
